To mobilize young Palestinians, Israelis, and global allies to create a tipping point for peace.

Our Story

SHIFT Futures is an upstart organization that grew out of the SHIFT Framework (formerly the Phoenix Framework) - an initiative that emerged in the aftermath of the October 7 attacks and the war in Gaza, when a group of Israelis and Palestinians, alumni of the New Story Leadership program, came together in response to escalating violence and humanitarian crisis.

Our original drafters articulated a holistic approach for a path towards Israeli-Palestinian reconciliation - a future grounded in cooperation rather than zero-sum politics, at a moment of profound rupture and polarization.

Since then, we’ve continued to develop our vision and share it. We've presented it to, and received support from, top officials in the US and Europe, including French President Emmanuel Macron, Senator Bernie Sanders, as well as several other members of Congress, and diplomats stationed in the region.
